Troop 80, Downers Grove

American Legion Post 80

Upon
formation of the Troop, the original meeting place was at the
American Legion Hall. At that time, Legion Hall was located
on Grove Street in Downers Grove.
Approximately 1947, meetings alternated between Lincoln School
and Legion Hall meeting rooms.
Approximately 1962, meetings were permanently moved to the American
Legion Hall.

Over the
years, the meeting days have been held on Mondays, Tuesdays,
Saturdays, and currently Thursdays. Interestingly, there is
no record of official Troop meetings ever held on Wednesdays,
Fridays, or Sundays.

The Troop Committee meets every 2nd Saturday
of the month at 8:00 AM at the Legion Hall.
All Parents are welcome to attend.
